pandemic push

Nothing like a global pandemic to light a fire under your ass.

Been sitting on this blog idea for a while but, like so many other things in my life, it existed in my mind only. Also the fact that I am no millennial (love you guys!) when it comes to technology so creating my own blog has had its challenges. Even though blogs are anachronistic (werd to your mom), and even though I feel the faint need to be apologetic about creating one in 2020, I dig 'em. Blogs are actually the New Retro Twitter but with unlimited characters.

So it took me a long time to figure out the techs of it all, which is lame because a 5 year old could manage Wix (which actually makes me love it) but I needed to allow for a few frustrated days of figuring out my not-so-strong passwords to the twelve unpublished sites I've created the past couple of years while also not devolving into an 'adult' who swears at the computer screen.

So what is this you may not be wondering? This is the space I will fill up with my musings, meanderings and maraudings about Life. Sometimes I like alliteration. Sometimes it's very annoying.

I used to write a blog a long time ago but was kind of a (large) pussy and never made it public. This time I am going to make it public so all 7 people in the Ether can read this. Plus it makes me accountable which is important otherwise I would continue to Do Nothing. It's like when I was a 'runner' and would track down the main road in my suburbia land because it made me run harder if there was the possibility of someone seeing me. Love me! Love me!

So this is the start. The site is unfinished, I have no real plan other than 'to write' so will build blog entries as I simultaneously try mini upgrades to the site. A continual project of improvement - the tag line to my life (even though improvement is - apparently - a TOTAL fallacy). Mostly.
